Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 is used by original equipment manufacturers, like ProStor Systems, to consolidate file-serving functions onto one device and is designed to integrate seamlessly into heterogeneous environments with support for major network operating system protocols and with all popular management utilities. InfiniVault uses the Microsoft software to provide a standard network interface for fast active file access and support for multiple independent archives providing terabytes of online, nearline and infinite offline digital archive capacity.
